THIS IS THE CONTENTS OF THE LETTER:
Thank you for the pics. However, it's not up to the child to make a decison as far as picking out what school she wants to go to without the other parent being involved and on board. (It's still grade school not college! ) Never seen anything like it. And if we were still as one it wouldn't have even come up for consideration. You were the driving force in pursuing this decision to be made. No other matters were considered at all like for... example one child being on a traditional school schedule and the other on a modified school schedule, custody days and visitation, and teacher work days/early release days between the two children etc. The biggest overlook on this matter is the uncaring factor that our court order .....the temporary one as well as the permanent one clearly states that decisions such as this are to be made "jointly" not meaning parent and child...but parent and parent. So since it clearly wasn't and as much as it has been painful for me to not have been included the reality is...I wasn't. Adriana's middle school experience and all that goes with it are for you, her, and her friends.
Thanks,
Theresa

AND WHAT WAS THIS LETTER, A RESPONSE LETTER, FROM MY EXWIFE ABOUT. MY DAUGHTER WANTS TO PERSUE A CAREER IN ARTS, DANCE, AND MUSIC. TO THAT END, SHE CHOSE THE CURRENT SCHOOL SHE IS IN. BUT, MY EX-WIFE, AS IS WRITTEN, IS AGAINST ANY ATTEMPTS FOR HER TO PERSUE HER CAREER. SO, SHE DOES NOT ATTEND PERFORMANCES AND DOES NOT SUPPORT MY DAUGHTER. THE END RESULT IS THOSE TWO ARE CONSTANTLY AT ODDS WITH EACH OTHER. MY DAUGHTER, TRIES AND TRIED TO ENGAGE HER MOM AND TRIES TO GET HER TO SEE THAT SHE WANTS A CAREER IN MUSIC AND THAT IS THE SCHOOL AND THINGS SHE WANTS. THE ORDER, REFERRED TO HERE BY MY EX-WIFE, SPECIFICALLY HAS PROVISIONS SO THAT THE KIDS CAN CHOOSE AND PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES OF THEIR INTEREST, AND MY ADDRESS IS THE HOME SCHOOL ADDRESS. MY EXWIFE TRIED TO GET MY DAUGHTER TO ATTEND A SCHOOL CLOSE TO HER EX-BOYFRIENDS HOUSE, THE ONE SHE MOVED OUT WITH WHEN SHE LEFT ME. WELL, NOW SHE IS IN ANOTHER CITY ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES FROM MY DAUGHTERS SCHOOL. LAST NIGHT, AGAIN, I HAD TO DEAL WITH A DISTRAUGHT DAUGHTER, WHOM WAS UPSET BECAUSE HER MOM DID NOT SHOW UP AGAIN FOR ANOTHER PERFORMANCE, VIOLIN. JUST WANTED TO SHARE THIS.
