The Best, the  Cream of the Crop

It hurt, because, it was not me and my feeling.  It was someone else sharing.  It was Sunday evening.

He said, I talked with the facilities guy, and he said, “We cannot add an air assist to the door because it will break the laTcH and locking mechanism”.

He continues to talk with the fellow and tried to convince him of the need for an air assist door.  The final response from the facilities person was “Maybe in a year or two we will be able to do that”.

He asked because he was concerned.  He was in a power wheelchair and can only get into the church when he has his daughter.  She will hold the door open for him. 

My prayer is that God will provide for US.  God will provide for the disabled and families with children that are still not considered by the churches.  This is 2017.  No excuses.  The technology is here.  You go to Walmart and Target and cannot live without them.  The doors open automatically to let grandma and the spouses with kids in the strollers.  Not so at the churches, all of them that I attend. 

So when he said this, it hurt double.  But my prayer is that God will provide.  God is Good.
