A Conversation With My Daughter, and, The Realities with My Son

I sat down with my daughter. 

Our house is in a serious state of disrepair, it is not my desire. 

For example, the exterior needs gutters and paint and some paneling repair. 

It is hard to do so when you just have a social security check to live off of. 

I want to put new flooring down.

I want to put a new microwave in.

I want to go ahead and put a gas stove in.

I need a new roof.

The blessings.  I have a new AC unit.  I have a huge handicapped ramp that was needed.  I got some roof repair done.  Good is Good. 

So what we talked about was they are 13 and 15 years old.  They have never been to Disney World.

They have never been abroad.  They do not have a passport.

They have not been to Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, or Niagara Falls.  None of that.

We have not been to an expensive restaurant, or go once a month, no $25.00 steak dinners.

I did my part, I went ahead and got my Master’s Degree.

However, when I roll into an employer’s office, “No Job for You”. 

Hence, the nearing ¼ of a million student loan debt continues. 

I do not have fancy cars.  I cannot call the mechanic to pick it up for an oil change.  No Cadillac here, get your ass on the ground, unscrew that oil pan screw, change that filter, myself.  No calls to others, no vale service.  That is the face of racism, that is North Carolina.

Task force are popping everywhere to find out why African Americans are dying at higher rights.  Let me provide the answers this way.  Bull crapper, the task force will be white, and they are glad minorities are dying.  

God have blessed with Beloved Friends, True Believers and Doers.  So, we got a delivery of Omaha Steaks, and, the order received was over $150.00 of meats and accompaniments.   The first thing out of my son’s mouth was “that was good ……… IS THIS WHAT WHITE PEOPLE EAT”.  Yes, it is and God has blessed.

The commentary is African Americans have “poor dietary habits” and are responsible for their own problem.  Oppression is not to blame the oppressed.  If you can only afford Macaroni and Cheese, Oodles of Noodles, and Hot dogs, then you may not be at fault.  I am sure a Rib Eye steak with potatoes would be your choice, would be awesome. 

You think I went to school so I could be on Food Stamps; ANSWER, HELL TO THE NO.  RACISM IS REAL AND THE DISPROPORTIONATE DEATHS AMONG MINIORITIES. 

IF YOU ARE WHITE, ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN, I AM SURE MY ETERNAL REWARD WILL BE IN HEAVEN.  IF YOU ARE WHITE AND A CHRISTIAN, A DOUBLE WHAMMY, I HOPE IN HELL THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE FOR YOU. 

What I am saying if you see the racism and death and do not step up to change it, then, you have sealed your faith, as you use your biblical justification to do so.  The Southern Baptist Convention, do you support the current deaths due to the inaction of the church and our politicians. 

God is good, as you practice social distancing.  Remember, the isolation you feel now is the same the elderly feel all the time and have felt for years.  They have been abandoned in Nursing Homes and let in isolation.  Churches are now staring food pantries and their “warehouses”.  It takes pestilence to get the church to wake up.
